I am thinking about going natural again. I keep perming it because I don't like the nappy, rough, and unkept look of going natural. I chopped all my hair off back in August 2008, but I have since then permed it.I love the natural curls. I am starting my transition stage. I will clip off my relaxed hair as my natural curls grow in

Today is my best friend's birthday.Happy Birthday Leah!!!!

I am  tired of guys asking me "WHAT DO I WANT IN A GUY?" or stuff like that. I decided to make up a list of all the qualities and characteristics I want in a man (NOTE: I said MAN not BOY). I have dealt with BOYS so far, well except for one who is reading this :)) This is a handbook to me..

MY LIST:

1.  Must be 5'11 or taller. I love tall men:) I don't know why I just do. I have noticed most of the dudes I have talked to were either a little shorter than me or my height (5'4) or a little bit taller than me.
2. He must be funny. I love to laugh. If you can't make me smile or laugh than we will have problems buddy.
3. He must have a nice smile. The smile is one of the first things I notice about a guy.
4. He must has nice lips. This could be apart of number three, but if you have an amazing smile and so so lips I can work with ya. I don't like JUMBO lips or flat lips. They have to be normal/medium size lips.
5. Great Kisser. I love to kiss. I could have put this with #4, but just because you have nice lips doesn't mean your a great kisser. I have been deceived a few times.
6. He must have brains. I want to have an intellectual conversation with him. I love man who have a way with words.
7. He has to be educated with a college degree or currently pursuing one. He must have or be working a degree in a field that is recession-free.
8. He must like/love animals.
9. He has to have goals. He must have both short and long term goals and working towards those goals and making them accomplishments. 
10. He must be financially stable with good credit. I can't have someone who is bad with money. He must know how to spend his correctly. He can't be cheap, but he can be budget savvy!!! 
11. He must have a nice body. I love toned bodies on men. I absolutely love ABS & ARMS!!! If he doesn't have a nice body he better be working on one PRONTO! 
12. He must be a nice dresser. I love men with a sense of style. He must be well kept, and look it too(he must look like he invested time in his appearance).I love me with goatees and nicely trimmed mustaches. His nails must me well kept. He must smell good ( I LOVE MEN WHO WEAR JUST THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF COLOGNE). He must shower daily. I hate the smell of stinky ass sweaty ass musky ass men. Don't even get me started. DEODORANT IS A MUST!!!!! 
13. He can't smoke cigarettes. I HATE THEM THINGS.
14. He must be family oriented.
15. He should have his own ride, or working towards getting one. I don't have one at the moment, so he needs to have one. Not needed, but preferred.
16. He must be respectful and have good manners (basically he must be a gentlemen) even if we fight and he gets angry he is composed enough to remember I have feelings (I am sensitive). Please and Thank You never hurt 
17. He must be creative. He should be able to plan dates for us. "Idk, whatever you wanna do?" or We can chill at my house or yours? Try again!!!! That is boring. There are sooo many things to do- movies, musuems, the zoo, a picnic, sightseeing, etc. Use your imagination and come up with something creative!
18. He must be confident, but not cocky. I hate that.
19. He must be aggressive. You can't be actin all timid and shy all the time. I shouldn't have to make the first move all the time. You should make the first move sometime. You should be able to go after what you want.
20. He must be interested in getting to know me, for me!!!! FOR MY MIND AND SOUL NOT MY BODY. When I ask you why you're interested in me, anything pertaining to body or looks should not be your first response.
21. He must be ROMANTIC. I am a sucker for all things romantic. For instance: take a horse and cage ride at night through the city before or after dinner or to an event. Anything romantic. I love surprises.
22. He must have good memory. I doesn't have to be like a robot or computer. He must remember the small things I mention and apply them. The small things really do count.
23. He must be honest, respectful, and trustworthy. I should be able to trust you and you should me able to trust me. 
24. He must give me some space. I don;t like clingy dudes.
25. He can't be controlling that will not sit well with me.
26. He must play a sport. I must not understand the  sport, but I will still support you.
27. He must stick to his word. If you say you are going to do something then DO IT. I swear if you can't do something don't say you can.
28. I almost forgot your breathe must smell fresh. I can't stand dudes with hot funkdafide breathe, that make me wanna said GOT DAMNNNNNNNN!!!!

I am so happy to have known you for the past 6 years. I swear the time has passed us by. This distance thing is a bitch, but it has made us close. I am ready to be apart of a pair. I actually do want to relationship. I don't want to just jump into one either. I want to take TIME and I mean taking time to learn each other's personalities, and the likes and dislikes. I believe in being friends first THEN dating THEN making it official. I want to know the person before I commit to them. If you can't keep my interest or our personalities clash. I have a few people in mind, but I don't think they can live up to my standards or the standards I somehow made up for them.

I am somewhat picky about my guys, but lately I have been letting A LOT slide by. I decided that it is best to just go back to having standards or requirements or whatever they are called these days.

Now of course I have met my perfect guy, BUT we leave in two different states and time zones.

The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they

We've all got some haters among us!

Some people envy you because you can:
a) Have a relationship with God
b) Light up a room when you walk in
c) Start your own business
d) Tell a man / woman to hit the curb (if he / she isn't about the
right thing)
e) Raise your children without both parents being in the home

Haters can't stand to see you happy.
Haters will never want to see you succeed.
Most of our haters are people who are supposed to be on our side.

How do you handle your undercover haters?
You can handle these haters by:

1. Knowing who you are & who your true friends are *(VERY IMPORTANT!!)

2. Having a purpose to your life: Purpose does not mean having a job.
You can have a job and still be unfulfilled.

A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you.

3. By remembering what you have is by divine prerogative and not human
manipulation.

Fulfill your dreams! You only have one life to live...when its your
time to leave this earth, you 'want' to be able to say, 'I've lived my
life and fulfilled 'my' dreams,... Now I'm ready to go HOME!

When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at
me...Look at Who is in charge of me...'

Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are not hating
on you including the person who sent it to you.

If you don't get it back, maybe you called somebody out!
Don't worry about it, it's not your problem, it's theirs..
Just pray for them, that their life can be as fulfilled as yours!
Watch out for Haters...BUT most of all don't become a HATER!

New Plans

I have been reading books on finance and blogging for the past couple of days. I have been trying to understand the whole blogging thing. I read some books to help me understand thing blogging thing better. I have decided to take a different approach on this blog. I am currently revamping this blog.
